Whirl Wind Weeks!

The past couple of weeks have flown by, I can't believe it's already the end of April! This blog will mostly be a picture blog b/c SO many awesome things have happened lately. Addy has worn big girl panties to school every day this week!! We are SOOOOO excited and proud of her. (and counting the savings already!) HA! We are still wearing pull ups at night...just in case but she has done so well. Today was our 1st real outing wearing them. We went to church, to eat Chinese, to Wal-Mart and back home with NO accidents!! YAY! One thing that Addy has really been into lately is dance. She tells me "mommy, lets go to your room and have a dance party!" So we go get the radio out and dance!

Sissy also came to visit last weekend... I can't believe I haven't posted these yet! We had so much fun and we can't wait for her next visit!

AND...... i got new hairrrrrr!!! LOL or so Addison says! I LOVE it. I went to Maria on Saturday and told her I wanted it cut! I was going back and forth for a while but I finally decided it was time for a change. As always, Maria did a fantastic job and made it look great!! I'm super happy and excited about getting to sleep in a little later now! haha !

Boy oh boy does time fly! I can't believe it's almost time to start planning Addison's 3rd birthday party! I'm so excited this year because it will be our 1st birthday party at her house!! Our sweet baby girl is growing up so fast and we are so proud and so excited to see the next steps of her life. Here are a few of the things that she loves most right now. Of course we're missing a few people and things, but I wanted to share these! :)

Hummm

This weekend Addy and I were playing in her room like we always do and she said "Look mommy, I drew a wheel" Or at least that's what I thought she said. I then asked her to let me see and this is what she showed me...

I said "What is that again??" she said "a WHALE!" I was blown away... I mean she is only 2!!!!!! that's probably better than I could do! haha


Then we continued to play with her new toy the Easter Bunny brought her and she amazed me once again... What a smart girl!!! We are SO proud of her!!

New Neighbors

Spring is here, Spring is here, It's the best time of the year!!! Addison's bird house finally has residents! A couple of birds have started a nest and Addison quickly pointed that out to daddy! Over the last few days we have watched the nest grow and grow. The Birdkins have quite a chirp around 6:30 AM and I'm not sure how great that's going to work out.. ha! I'll keep you updated on the status of this new family to be....

What a gorgeous Easter weekend we had. Addison was looking just as gorgeous in her Easter dress so we decided to have a little photo shoot...we're way over due anyway! I, of course, love every one of them and couldn't decide which ones to put up, SO I put up all of them! :)

Sunny Days!

This week has been amazing!! The weather has been beautiful and I'm positive that it played a huge factor in the great week. Super dad Jamey put up Addison's new play set ... in about a day Seriously! I attempted to help towards the end of the project, but it always works out better when I'm just there for moral support! :) The whole area looks fantastic...he has done such a great job in our yard. Addison has been SO happy this week too because every day after school she has gotten to swing on her very own swing and slide down her slide and play in her clubhouse! She has told us for weeks that she "can't wait for her playground" and she would say "I'm SO excited!!" Seeing her play on the playground makes me realize even more how fast she is growing up and changing. I was pushing her in the swing one day and she said "mommy, push me high!" Me- "addy I'm pushing you high Addy- "no mommy, that's not high, that's very slow and I'm a big girl!" OK!

That is one blessed little girl, she has the most loving family that she could ever ask for! In the same sense, we are more than blessed to have her!! Here's a look at our past week enjoying the sunny days!
